Our editorial decisions are made by editors, not advertisers or affiliate partners. No one can buy a recommendation, a rating or a placement on Aperture Daily.

Honesty about testing

We clearly label every piece of content:

• Hands-on review — we physically used the product.
• Research-based review — analysis built from published specifications, documentation and reputable third-party reporting.
• Product profile — a structured reference page, not a review.

We never claim to have tested something we did not test.

Sourcing and corrections

We cite sources wherever practical. When we make an error, we correct it and note the correction. See our corrections policy.

Updates

Evergreen content is reviewed periodically and updated with a new "last reviewed" date. News and rumor content are kept strictly separate, and rumors are always labeled as such.

Affiliate content

Where an article contains affiliate links, it is marked accordingly, and our affiliate disclosure applies.
